I know strictly were not ment to talk about "ISO's" but would anyone care to give me a defintion of what this actualy is. Soz, im just so confused about all this talk on "ISO's" (it's doing my head in) and why are they so bad anyaway? Please would someone care to awnser this,

ISO actually stands for 'International Standards Organization' and the term can refer to numerous things, most of them nothing to do with computer technology. To call it a CD image is correct and wrong at the same time as it doesn't actually refer to one type of media, just one agreed standard in media images. Although .ISO is a fixed extension, there are actually numerous types depending on the file system involved. In the case of PSP ISOs, it is the image of a UMD disc.
