Default Lumines or Wipeout Pure?

If you were able to get either Wipeout Pure or Lumines...Which would you get? Im looking for a game thatd id get the most out of for the 40 dollar pricetag? Im kinda hesitant of lumines due to the fact that Im not sure if id like it or not But from what i hear its really fun. I also dont mind racing games too. I already own Untold Legands and am lookign for another game. basicly i want the most bang for my buck. Suggestions greatly apreciated...thanks! Be free to suggest games other then these 2.

If you want the most out of your purchase, I suggest Lumines. I have played both, and Lumines will cetainly outlive Wipeout in terms of replayability. With Wipeout, the game stays entertaining until you beat it, and afterwards unless you play it over WiFi with some friends/strangers, it will probably end up sitting on your shelf, collecting dust. With Lumines, it is an addicting puzzle game that can be played in quick sessions, and is addictive.

Im kinda leaning towards lumines as of now but the only thing that is giving me doubts is with the downloadable content of Wipeout Pure. I am also very interested in the internet browser portion people are working on which as of now is only available using Pure. Does anyone see them making any major advances relatively soon involving that and loading it from a memory card rather then a game?

LUMINES has my vote.

Wipe out pure is ok but if you already have Ridge Racer then you already have the best racing type game... Lumines on the otherhand is great fun and can get really addictive and intense....

Default Lumines or wipeout pure

I have both games and it would be hard to choose one over the other. The advantages shared by both games is that they are both fast paced and addictive. Also, they both incorporate music into the game really well. The particular advantage that Lumines has is that it challenges your mind a bit more than wipeout pure. You really have to concentrate on the puzzle solving aspect of the game.

With wipeout pure, its practicing the levels over and over until you get really good. I have not completed wipeout pure yet, so I can't comment on how long the fun factor remains with this game. Another advantage with this game is that you have more input controls. These are used for controlling your ship and firing weapons found on the race track. With lumines, its simply rotating the puzzle pieces and dropping them. Wipeout pure gets exciting when you learn how to use these controls. The graphics are amazing for a game machine this small...maybe a bit better than Lumines graphics.

Overall, I'd say if you could get both games, buy both. But if I really had to choose one, I'd go with Wipeout pure, then save my money and buy lumines as soon as I had the money

Wow, i totaly forgot i had posted this here, i geuss i got caught up in my games and school...lol. Well yeah i went ahead and baught both of those games. Out of the 2 i like wipeout better, But lumines is also a very good game. I found myself starting to play lumines at 9:30 at night and not realizing wat time it was until like 11:30. But that also has its downfalls, becasue it makes u play the same levels in the same order and its alwasy fun to get a new level and very rewarding but i have a short temper and sometimes i just gotta put the game down. But overal i havent played either of them nearly as much as I do Ridge-Racers wich i got a few weeks ago. Out of the 4 games I have Ridge Racers is by far my favorite. Im pretty sure im gonna trade in my Untold lagends towards either Midnight club or Coded arms....or maybe both, depending on ratings. But yeah im craving a new game, were kinda in a psp game drought
