Can anyone know where to find the rope ????

Yeah iv made it to this same exact spot were theres a giant hole and it says id need a rope to get down, i searched the whole level and still didnt find it. I checked out faq's on the net and they didnt help much. Anyone know how to get past this part? Im gonna try teleporting back to town to see if that does anything but yeah im also stuck.

My friend told me the fobbiden catacomb is in the inn. behind the bar.

Glad to see I'm not the only one stuck there as well... So you're saying... go back to town and go inside inn behind the bar?

Iv since figured this dilemna out. You dont need the rope at that very moment. We just did things in the wrong order. When u get to that part or after u defeat the boss down there you press start and use the teleport back to the city option. Once there Hold down R and press square, This will make the map bigger. Look for a large blue or red exclamation mark(I forget which it is), thats where ya need to go. Go into that dungeon and find the boss, then after that youll find the missing girl. I hope i helped alittle!

Yah you guys are right, we don't need to use the rope, you will get the rope later in the game. So you just kill the boss and go back the guy(the guy who give you the mission), I think that's how the game works.
