Sonic Riders is currently in development for the Xbox and PS2, and due out in early 2006. However, producer Takashi Yuda is already talking PSP. In a recent press conference, Takashi Yuda talked about the future of his upcoming game, and clearly stated that his team was very interested in porting the title over to the PSP. No info on when this will be done, or any type of timeframe, but a confirmation that they want to see it on Sony’s handheld!
The Sonic-inspired racing game has players coasting along on hover-boards powered by air, a stock of which is replenished by performing tricks and pausing at refill stations and can also be used as an F-Zero-style boost.
