Default XMAS present.. Noob.. needs help

I just got a PSP for xmas.. and I also got the Socom game and the San Andreas game... now here is the question.. I have been doing some research.. and I put the game in and it said do I want to upgrade to the 2.0 version..

I didn't want to because I want to do the home brew stuff...

Am I at a loss for every playing these games... can I put the games on my 1gb memory card?

Thanks for any info..

Be prepared for all the kids to get their PSP's with tons of questions...

Thank you
-Jessica

Welcome to the forum Jessica!

I don't think you should worry about upgrading to v2.0 because you can downgrade from there later if you need to. It's any version after v2.0 that you can't downgrade from (for the time being anyways) so if you want to play homebrews it's not a problem to use umd games that require v2.0. Hope that answers your question.

You won't be able to get those games onto your memory card (not legally anyway).

Merry Christmas!

After you go into the PSP folder, make a folder entitled "MUSIC" and from there, put in all the mp3s you want and then it should be good to go.
