Default PSP Killzone

Killzone, the great FPS for the ps2, is comming to the PSP.

Here is the Press Release

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that it has acquired leading developer Guerrilla Games to further expand its development capability as part of Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS).
In a strategic move to secure long term excellence in game development for current and future PlayStation® platforms, the acquisition of Guerrilla has formalised the already close working relationship between Sony Computer Entertainment and the studio.

Guerrilla B.V. ( www.guerilla-games.com ), based in Amsterdam, Netherlands is the award winning developer of the Killzone game for PlayStation 2, which has shipped close to 2 Million units worldwide. The studio is currently working on a new Killzone title for PLAYSTATION 3, early scenes of which were shown to wide acclaim when revealed at E3 earlier this year. The studio is also developing a further game within the Killzone universe for PlayStation Portable (PSP). Guerrilla signed an exclusive development agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in March 2004 and the acquisition will help the team grow as a key creative element of the SCE Worldwide Studios network.

Commenting on the acquisition, Phil Harrison, President of SCE WWS, said, “Guerrilla have a great combination of creative, technical and production talent in their team and we have enjoyed a close working relationship with their management and staff for a number of years. I am delighted that they will now become a member of the SCE Worldwide Studios network of developers. As we prepare for the launch of PLAYSTATION 3 next year, this acquisition strengthens our development portfolio to take full advantage of the exciting entertainment opportunities provided by PSP, PLAYSTATION 3 and beyond.”

Hermen Hulst, Managing Director of Guerrilla said, “Sony Computer Entertainment - with its truly global presence, leading platforms and commitment to innovation – is an ideal partner for Guerrilla and we are delighted to take our existing relationship to the next level.”

You do a lot of posting that doesn't exactly "add" to the discussion going on with the post. I've noticed this happening quite a bit for almost every new post that goes up. Do you feel the need to have a high post count?

It's quality over quantity my friend.

Weezer, your sarcasm is noted. I understand that everyone has the occasional post that is not all that informative or "bs" as you put it. It comes with the territory in forum life and will happen on its own. However, what I was addressing is the ratio of these posts against those that have substance. Agreed, mr bob does answer questions and give the occasion "news" post about psp and related items. But I just get a little tired of posting and seeing someone add a rather forgetful response to it that, for the most part, we all could do without because it does nothing more than add an emoticon and a few empty words. I like mr bob a lot and enjoy having him around but on this particular issue I just wanted to respond in my own way.

As for my Thoughts of the Day posts, they are located in The Room. If you would simply read the description of this area you would understand why there is not an issue with my postings in this area, even if you are of the opinion that they are pointless.

Having stuck your nose in this business I hope you are not too worse for wear "friend". :?

aw aint that sweet.

Ok gents we mods are about cleaning up pointless posts that bug us and the reasons behind that are this... WE JUST CAN

hehehehe No really it's just the place was getting littered with silly pointless threads and the main culprits of such posting will have been contacted by now.

As for posts of the day... I quite like them and find myself agreeing with the majority of them.

Carry on...
