Default I am a Wipeout Leper

I missed a beat with the Playstation, I had a Snes, Megadrive, but didnt buy another console until PS2, consiquently I missed out on Wipeout (all of them) until now, Pure. I can play games, I am not an idiot, I kick ass at Ridge Racer and GT on PS2. Why then do I totally suck at Wipeout!? I understand it floats, it has air breaks but it might as well be a pinball game when I play. I just bounce all over the place, what am I doing wrong?

what an idiot

DUDE! I love XG3. I thought it was great. Thank God that I didn't trade that in for cash. In fact, I never do. I think I'll play it later.

I said the same thing too. I had XL for PC and I didn't think Pure would be that different. Then when I played a copy a friend had, I SUCKED ASS! But I guess it just takes getting used to.

Jaydentaku>>> Try doing the Zone courses. It get pretty fast really quick. The ship has great thrust and handling but the shields suck. The whole point of that section is to not hit the walls.

I think it's just a couple of tracks availble* for that section. I know that one I've been on is decent, but if you start to turn too much, that's where you go wrong. There are not any sharp turns so that helps.
