Toca race driver 2 psp version
This is my first ever review for a game and I hope it can be of some help When you load the game for the first time you will be presented with the select profile screen, here you can create your drivers name and set the language and nationality press done The next screen is the options page, here you can set things like analog sensitivity High/low gearbox auto/manual, other options include Graphics, sound and bonus (more on bonus later) and you can also reconfigure the controls to your liking The main game modes are career, simulator and time trial Career Mode You have a manager called Scotty (cut scenes) he tells you, your objectives before each race and also lets you know how your doing while racing, your hear him say things like “nice overtaking there son “ and “your on the final lap come on son “ But I don’t think this is over done and I’ll let you discover more about Scotty and the cut scenes yourself The career mode is all about achieving your team’s objectives and unlocking your next stage (vehicles, tracks and championship races) most of the time it’s about coming first and winning money, to give an example you may have to win 70k within 3 races. Coming 1st would give you 30k so win two races and come 4th 3rd 2nd 1st in the final race would win you that championship and move you on to the next stage (I hope that made sense lol) there are a lot of options while taking part in the career mode, Simulator Mode (free race and time trial) Free race is where you can select any of the tracks and vehicles you have unlocked and race them in a custom championship that you can make up You can choose the number of tracks (up to 10 in some cases) and the number of laps (you could pick up to 30 laps in sim mode) other options are qualifying, pit stops, grid position. The sim mode as no effect on your career mode Time Trial the TT mode is ……. Ah come on we all know what this is about Final thoughts If your looking for a racing game where you get the feeling you are always in a pack then TRD2 maybe what your looking for ,it may not look as good as RR (not played it , seen demo) but TRD2’s game play is top class, lot of options cars and tracks to race Form F3 to F1, rally, trucks, and 4x4 loads of others Game play 10/10 Graphics 8/10 Sound 8/10 So this was my first review for a game (ever lol) hope it helps if your not sure weather to get it or not …if somebody else has this game and would like to add (correct) any part of this review please go a head Thx for reading stig P.S this review was written for psphome.com but thought i would post it here too ![]() |

Hey Stig... good review indeed... could you do a follow-up after you have played it to death for a while.... just to see if the newness has worn off and the niggles start to come in.
I have always enjoyed the TOCA series on the play station so expect it to be good fun on the PSP. Again many thanks for the review it is appreciated. Des  |
