I have just got hold of this little beauty off a friend who works at a game shop - it isn't out until next Friday according to him. It really is superb and keeps the fast pace of the PS2 Take Down release - you wouldn't believe it is running on a handheld! I will post a better review tomorrow after I have played it for a bit. Got to give it him back tomorrow though
Here is a few screenshots of it that I took with my V3 so excuse the quality :- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmmm.....something is still going wrong with the setup of this forum because Alcapone's post is above mine for some reason
Anyway, the game. Sigh, just had to give it him back but let me tell you this is the best game I have played on the PSP so far. If you have played Burnout 3 on the PS2 or XBox then you will know what this game is like - it is almost identical in both graphics and gameplay. The layout of the game is slightly different but is no worse for it. The only thing I noticed that differs graphics wise is the lack of blur effect when you boost but that is minor. The speed the graphics run at when you boost on a high end car beggars belief - you really will not believe a small device like the PSP could do it. The controls are responsive and the sound and music are top notch. As for a comparison with Ridge Racers, suffice to say the isn't one. Both games are arcade racers but Burnout Legends is so much more than just racing around a track. I really do suggest you buy it next week because I will be. Graphics 9/10 Sound 8/10 Gameplay 9/10 Overall 9/10
