I was in EBGames yesterday (grabbing Sacred Underworld), and there was someone looking at a PSP, so I gave him various bits of advice.
When paying, he said 'I assume you have a PSP?'. I said yes, and commented on how it was too bad the game they had boxes all along the top row of their display - Medieval Ressurection - had already been released in Europe as a launch title and met with mediocre reviews. He said "that's what they do sometimes, release it in Europe first and then work out the kinks before the US release" I said "but the US release is in a week" He said "they'll take care of the issues - trust me". I paid and left. I know that sometimes with PC games that is done, but the likelihood of 1 line of code being changed based on Euro reviews in time for a US release is ... well, zero. Buyer beware ... Mike |

Its released in America first, if its good, we get it, if its buggy, we still get it Japan, if they get it first, in America its good and Europe its good, if its buggy, they fix it and release it for America and Europe to get it good If Europe get it and its buggy, they fix it for everywhere else, like were nobodies Does anyone have FIFA 2003 on PS2? During throw-ins the player's thigh turns to wire frame, I wouldnt complain, but I have them on Platinum, and it still does it! doesnt seem too fair on us guys |
