You have a job though. I'll probably live off of those 'Read these webistes for cash!!!' ads.

I have a desk job. At a computer. On the internet. All day.

So you don't actually publish things. Do you edit?

Pretty much. I check for spelling errors, misprinted dates, false information. We mainly deal with Children's books, so it's not like there are any big words that I don't know how to spell, so I'm usually done in a couple hours. Then I have the rest of the day to be a receptionist at the front-desk and sit on the computer. I really hope no one finds out, but I've downloaded a program to block the internet-tracker on the computer, so it just looks like I've been doing work all day, and I can visit any site I want.

What books? And what company are you with, again?

And you downloaded WHAT? Like a proxy?

And I don't know...there might be a couple words you don't know

Children's books. Lots of things that rhyme.

Lerner Publications/Carolrhoda Books/Millbrook.

I don't know. A co-worker was using it, and he gave me the program.

You know, receptionist, greets people when they come in. The Fed-Ex people, authors/people visiting authors, boss.

What's a receptionalist?

Anyways, I have to smile, ask who they want to talk to, and send them up.
