Default Need For Speed:Underground Rivals

Anybody else playing this game?

For good drifting, is it mainly involving the handbrake?

I guess since nobody has replied, there's nooe else out there. Not to worry, I'm figuring the game out anyway. Only been a couple of days.

For those interested, there's a few different game modes:

Arcade battle (10 levels of the following)
Street Cross: Racing 4 other cars around a short track
Drift Attack: Master the art of drifting
Nitro Run: dunno since I haven't added a nitro yet.
Drag: Straight line racing.

Circuit Race
4 Types of Regular circuit races.
Novice, Pro, Master. Each one contains different challenges:
Circuit - regular laps
Lap Knockout - last car on each lap gets knocked out
Rally Relay - you switch cars on different laps

Then Machine Specific:
Compact, Street, Tuner, Max and GT Classes.

There's wireless racing too like Ridge Racers.

All the menus and text are in Japanese (and there are lots of them), so it could be annoying for people who are importing this.

I've got this on pre-order with Videogameimports.com, Japanese version. It's due in stock tomorrow, so I'd better phone them and cancel my order.

I didn't think they'd have released it with so much Japanese text, especially with the US version weeks away, and the manner in which Ridge Racers was presented on the Japanese version.

Why even bother with need for speed. Too easy. square graphics car sounds are the same brum brum. Burnout 3 will Takedown need for speed anyday. if you want a good game to play get Burnout dont waste your money on a poor game. maybe if you own a gamecube then itl be alright.

Cos there's no other games out there worth getting. Plus unlike everyone else, I'm not paying import prices. :P

Ridge Racers is too easy. This is taking me quite a while longer.

Considering Burnout for PSP doesn't even have a full working title as yet, I think it's safe to say it's a long way off.

That's "why even bother" with NFSU Rivals. For now ...

need for speed is a terrible racing game unrealistic no damage on the cars the only damage is the way you do up the cars
The best racing game is burnout 3 who agrees

Hi Chongma.

I thought you might be able to help me out...

Since I'm in Denmark, and not that well spoken in Japanese, I was wondering if you could, just shortly, name the different items in the [Menus] of the game NFSU-R? I bought the japanese version, and have some difficulties in finding my way around.

I would be VERY glad , if you could point out the most important issues IN ENGLISH, please.

Thanks in advance, and have a nice weekend.
