I've heard some good things about Coded Arms and my friend has Ape Escape and says its a pretty good game. Which should I get?

Neither. If you don't have Lumines, get that, but if you do, get Appleseed. It's a movie for the PSP.

Both games have merit it just depends what your after.

Ape Escape is just silly gameplay that one can pick up and have a giggle at whereas Coded arms is running about in very similiar levels killing things with all manner of guns.

As I said both have merit and it all depends on what your actually after in a game this time round.

Coded Arms is a shooting game where you shoot aliens.
Ape Escape is a more of an adventure game, both good games, I would choose Coded Arms because I like violence

I'd say neither. Blech. I've played coded arms and it was the most drab FPS I've ever played. It's not terrible, but it's just not that good. Just wait for some better games. And rent buddy, don't just buy. I've bought very few games before renting them and it's just too risky.

You're a smart (wo)man. That's what I'm doing. I wait for a game to come out, read the IGN review, check out some reader reviews or other press reviews if I'm still unsure and then I'll rent it if it looks good. The last game I bought without renting first, I did a lot of research on before I bought just to be sure. The risk paid off then, it was Lumines. Great game.

That's what a lot of people did with Metal Gear Acid. And many, many people were dissapointed. I guess the thought of a MG game being bad just seemed too CRAZY for some people. Believe me, any game series can go bad at any point in time.
