Default newbie ? about psp sites

Just recently bought my first psp. Are any of those one-time fee/download all you want sites any good or are they all just crap? I've checked out a couple and I'm suspicious because they don't really let you browse what's available without paying first.

I checked out the offical playstation store and for some reason it won't let me register. Besides looks like the options are pretty limited anyway on what you can download.

I wonder why no-one can have a little browse before posting. There have been a few recently about the same subject so his question could have been answered from one of them (Well Possibly).
