need mhf2 tips please - PSP-Forum.com

the title says it all really, im kind of a noob when it comes to computer games and with mhf2 i dont seem to be getting anywhere so i was just wondering if anyone had some good little tips on how to progress?

You might want to check out an online strategy guide from a site like neoseeker or gamefaqs.

Check out skiesofcrimson.com (hope its ok for me to post that) they have tons of excellent guides! They also have video guides for those tough tough bosses.

Make the cats cook for you, it helps.

Get Trenya (the boat cat) to search for rare stuff for you, helps with weaps and armor.

Clear the 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd star Village quests (maybe even the fourth) to unlock the beehive at your farm, honey is really helpful (saved me against the Tigrex which I managed to slay on my third continue with no healing items left, no stamina and 25 health...woohoo...I suck)

Whichever weapon you pick, realize its GOING to be awesome against some bosses, and horrible against others, either elect to use a different weapon in those situations or deal with it. Just don't get discouraged.

Finally, I figure something like 95% of the game is repitition and learning patterns. So figure out the bosses pattern and you'll soon devistate it, that or just keep practicing on it.
