Default MLB '08: The Show Announced

Check it:

Quote:
SCEA announced that MLB 08: The Show would be available for the PS3, PS2 and PSP in Spring 2008 [March 4th]. The longest running officially licensed baseball game on PlayStation platforms, The Show will host a number of new features, including a deeper and more immersive Road to The Show mode that hosts new career advancements, goals and position specific situations. The Show will also introduce a new Progressive Batting Performance feature to reward players for consistent hitting while penalizing them for batting slumps. Online League Play will be augmented as well thanks to the newly introduced SCOUT (or SportsConnect Online User Tracking) feature, which lets players store game preferences and immediately search for quick match opponents that meet their criteria.

PS3 and PSP owners will also receive a new Pitcher/Batter Analysis both during and after a game that breaks down how a batter performs based on the kind of pitcher, kind of pitch and the result of each throw. Players can also take music from a PS3 hard drive and create their own soundtracks. These, and other new features will join pre-existing elements like Umpire Personalities, Hot and Cold Zones, Adaptive Pitching Intelligence and Pitch Command System. All of this will be anchored by the returning three-man commentary crew of Rex Hudler, Matt Vasgersian and Dave Campbell.
This game looks sooo good
