I have heard that you would be able to download games but only the multiplayer version of the game, just like the NDS. I think it was posted in www.gamespot.com or sumthing.

That sounds bloody brilliant!

What you guys are talking about is completely different; IGNs article was based on using the PSP's internal memory. Pacman Arcade or whatever is the first to do this, and via the wifi you can send a simple copy of PacMan, Dig Dug or some other Atari game to a PSP even if it has no game. The game send dissapears when you turn off the PSP, you dont need a memory card to play it and I dont think you can save it.

What this topic was about was taking games online and loading them on the PSP... this idea intrigues me, there's plenty of simple flash games that would be more fun to use on the PSP.

Ok, first off, you don't know if what those guys are talking about is completely different, because you don't know what this topic is talking about exactly, because this topic is asking a question. That folder could very well be used by game sharing, the same thing Namco Museum uses. Just because Namco Museum's game sharing feature puts the game in your temporary memory, doesn't mean all Game Sharing games will.

its called namco museum

you can transmit multiplayer games to other psps within range so you dont have to have 2 copies to play.

homebrew is only a matter of time....

(anyone want to club together and buy a dev kit?)
