NBA 08 or NBA Live 08 - PSP-Forum.com

Anybody have any opinions on either game? I have NBA Live 08 right now and I am getting tired of the gameplay. All the computer does is try to drive and dunk or try lay ups, it gets boring after the first half. I can't stand it and wanted to know if NBA 08 is good. People seem to either love it or hate it and majority have so-so reviews.

I can't find NBA 08 anywhere. It's sold out in the 4 Gamestop's I tried, Toys R Us and Best Buy...damn..can't even rent it.

Well, I bought Nba live 08 first. It was a good game but, it was a boring game. But it has a good mini game, like: handles, and 2 balls. But, yesterday i just bought NBA 08. I'm surprised that it has good gameplay and good animation. I think I prefer playing NBA 08

Definitely get NBA 08...its a Sony exclusive so it won't be a measly port, and even if it is, my cousin loves it on his PSP, no matter what other game I offer to give him...oh and Live 08 is made by EA...for all you know its a GBA port haha...so yeah...definitely NBA 08...

I got both. I found them both used. I must say the gameplay for NBA 08 is better gameplay wise. You can also edit stuff and the attributes seem to be really accurate. But at the same time there are no sliders and you are not able to change the quarter length from 4 min. I think I plan to coupe with NBA Live as I can always find sliders and it'll be easier for a dynasty.

i have a question for you guys who have nba 08.

is there a way to chance the quarter length in season mode. i already changed it on my profile but for some reason the quarter length stays the same when i start a season. thanks
