Default Wlan switch not turned on??

Managed to get my sons PSP online today (after eventually working out how to find my wep key for my wifi lol) and all was fine for a couple of hours (bar him not being able to watch football vids due to lack of memory).

Now it says cant connect as WLAN switch is turned off, or something resembling what I just wrote.

I dont know what that means or how indeed I would turn such a switch back on.

Any thoughts?

The switch is on the left hand side of the PSP, its the oposite side to the power switch and needs to be in the up position.

If it already is then the switch is broken, but i would guess at your son has switched it off.

Arrr, isnt it lovely when a problem is sorted due to such a simple error.

Its nice that for once the PSP isn't broken or destroyed by bad firmware/memory sticks...

It makes a pleasant change after frequenting car forums and finding a million and one answers to problems all leading to dead ends and then the inevitable realisation that it is all going to end up with a big main dealer bill lol.

Lol, this is true.

My car was ticking over way too fast so i googled the problem and its well known to that car, so i had a quick fiddle and all i had to do was clean this triangular valve type thing. And it was easy to access, i was well happy.

Another, i messed with the BIOS settings on the PC and it wouldnt start after that, so takes it to PC WORLD and they say £70 to fix ($140). So i googled (manual reset BIOS) at my mates and, there it was, "remove motherboard battery for 20 minutes, this resets CMOS settings. And it worked, so they would have got £70 for taking a battery out.

Oh and back in my noob days this forum helped out alot. I love forums, so helpful.

And another the other day, my tv wasnt finding my 360, i got all scared then realised the av lead was set on HDTV lol.

Anyways, im just ranting now, but yeah i love it when potentially expensive problems end up being silly mistakes which are simply fixed.
