Default PSP will not turn on

My psp will not turn on, no green light nothing. it has been awhile since it was played, so i thought maybe the battery was bad, so i tried a battery from another psp that i know works, and it still did not turn on. Any help?

Thankyou!

Yes, Peirodically it will work, but very very rarely, like maybe 1 in 25.

So the battery never works. The ac adapter works every now and then.

All i can think of is the power connectors are playing up, if its turning on once, then its not a brick.

Try leaving it on charge for like a day.
