Psp Sound Error - Please Help

Hi there,

im having a problem with my psp

The sound is playing up and i dont know what to do.

When the headphones are plugged in the sound works throught the psp speakers but not through the headphones

BUT

when the headphones are unplugged the psp will not play sound through the psp speakers.

To sum it up when the headphones are pluuged in the psp thinks they are not and when the headphones are unplugged the psp thinks the headphones are still plugged in

Confusing i know but are there any soultions?

Any help would be great

Plug it in and out really quickly and trick it back into the right way.
