I guess so, i was talking about the more legal and productive sides of homebrew. but i guess they come hand in hand with illegal sides too.
The intent is good, but at the end of the day, its about money, not community for sony. My argument is more to do with that the PSP could be a lot more than what Sony intends it to be, due to the purely legal input from independant coders, that aint doin it for the money. Although i understand that the illegal side is easily implemented with this 'freedom' and usually takes precident over the legal bits. so from a monetary point of view, this is detrimental to future consoles and developers

Indeed, in an ideal world this is what every one would like, but you know the saying "dont bite the hand that feeds you", well people have so the hand dosent feed you as much now. Hehehehe, i love my examples.

I think youre on to something there kev. Great food, lots of alcohol and maybe some wifi as well. As well as a chav detector at the door, so we dont have to listen to happy hardcore on crappy tinny mobile phone speakers while we get fat and ****ed and beat the spotty kid across the room at his own game. sounds like a winner 2 me :P
