PSP-2000 is not a specific model number, it's just a nickname used to denote the new redesign since the newer systems will have numbers in the 2000s instead of the 1000s like they did before.

In response to the question about why they didn't add a second joystick, I think they wouldn't be able to do that without splitting thier userbase in half, and developers wouldn't be able to take advantage of a second joystick without knowing if players would have the newer or older PSPs.

If they decided to do this, they might as well bring out the PSP2, or whatever, with many new revisions. The changes they made, while good, didn't alienate anyone if that makes sense.

It sure does.

I might get a psp2 if it was like a HD screen and ps3 graphics.

I hope you're right, I mean the technology for 3D-TV is now being developed, that's the next gen way of playing methinks, then when sensors are made, a room could be transformed to a jungle with aliens running around

No, i mean you are in the game, like laying in a chair dreaming, but you have the ability to control them.

Man would i love that to be possible before i die, i could create my own world and do what the hell i wanted and have what the hell i want.
