Default Not Starting

Hi, I'm new here and I seem to be having some difficulty starting my PSP. Once I try to turn it on it aint, well, turnng on. When I put it on Hold there's itty bitty light but it still won't generally start. I've tried charging it for 1 week streight but still nothing.

What's the problem? How do I fix it?

Greatly appreciated.

You might have bricked it somehow, have you done anything to the flash drive, upgraded? Downgraded? Left it off for 99 years? lol!

If it's not been modified in any way send it to Sony and they will fix it for free providing it's still in warrenty!

Well, there have been upgrades by buying new games and then there is like a new version of somewhat whenever I first play the game. Could that be it?

Jikes, it sounds as if it has been bricked. You didn't per chance switch it off whilst upgrading did you? That's a sure fire way to brick it, in the directions given when upgrading it does tell you not to turn it off.

If not you can try running it directly from the mains or taking out the battery and putting it back in to try and get it working again. Failing that give Sony a ring to get a replacement sorted out.

What is 791 playing? 791 is playing Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Hmmmm, how old is your PSP. Maybe it came slightly faulty. Meaning that there was a minor issue that became major over time...

Just call Sony and tell them the dog tripped over the cord while it was upgrading and it knocked out the battery and unplugged the cord, that worked for me.
