It probably didn't install right, it's bricked... Since you didn't have the Recovery folder on the memory stick (I'm guessing that's the case) You can't get into the recovery menu.

If you have access to something else that you can put files on your memory stick with(Card Reader, a sibbling's PSP, etc.) put this on your memory stick. Recovery Menu.

Put the folder in the GAME folder, so it looks like this "E:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/decryptprx.prx,EBOOT.PBP,extprxs.pbp, etc."

Yeah, you're going to have to find something other than your current PSP to move the files to your memory stick. If it doesn't work, the file that starts it must be screwed up or missing and it's completely hopeless...

Wait, one quick question, you're holding the Right Trigger when you're turning it on, right?

Also, are you sure that the files are in the right location?

In the PSP folder, there should be a folder called GAME(Not GAME150, GAME340, or any other combo of numbers), in GAME, there should be a folder called Recovery, in recovery should be all the files. If all that's right, than sorry to say, but you're screwed.
