This is like a process required for downgrading my PSP to 1.5...so in terms of the 3.03 upgrade/downgrade.....

I have downloaded the Sony 3.03 Update PBP file, do I j ust put it to the correct directory in my PSP and access it through my PSP and install it?

EDIT: I am on firmware 2.8

hi there Acez
first of all Create a folder for the update data on the Memory Stick Duo.
Using your PC, create a folder named "PSP" on the Memory Stick Duo. Within the "PSP" folder, create a folder named "GAME". Within the "GAME" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE". (Folder names must be in capital letters)
after that put the update in the "UPDATE" folder.
that should do the trick.

after you apply the upgrade to your folder,go to your games on your psp look in memory stick, youll see update, click x,it will update, when its done go to system settings/system information, there check to see if it upgraded to your firmware you wanted,if it did, delete it from your memory stick.it will stay upgraded.
