Default 1 gig memory card question

How many songs can 1 gig stick hold? Am I better off buying a 2 gig stick for music?[/b]

About 250, but you can compress your files to fit more on it.

Actually, atrac3plus can support higher audio quality than mp3. The only problem is that conversion takes time, and then unless you make the artist's name the same for all of them, it will separate all songs into folders by artist, so when I put it on shuffle, it shuffles one folder at a time, which is anoying. For those reasons, I just use mp3s. I have over a hundred songs, a couple of music videos, and I still have space left over.
