Default PSP WIFI PROBLEM----PLEASE HELP!!

Hi, bacially i got my psp and it was a 2.71 ta-082 (note the wifi worked fine then), i then used the ta-082 downgrader and downgraded to 1.5, and then upgraded to 3.10oe-a'

However, since i did the downgrade to 1.5, my wifi does not seem to work. (However it worked before)

When i scan for connections it seems to find them, however when i attempt to connect it says:

"connection error has occured........check security setting for network" ---or something like that.

If you could please help to resolve this issue it would be great.

Also; im not sure if any of the recovery setting may cause this; such as region free etc.

I have tried connecting to my own wifi which has a WEP key, and it didn't work (i tried multiple times, the key is definitely correct as it work on my laptop).

I also then tried to access a different connection which did not have any security; and it still did the same thing.

I would try going back to 1.5 and than upgrading to 3.10 OE-A again, Also, check to see if it works on 1.5.

All i can suggest is disable every security feature on your router, all mac filters etc. And try again, how about going down to like 3.03 OE-C? It may work.

HI everyone.......posting back since the last and i have successfully got my psp wifi working again.

The problem was not the firmware or the psp hardware. What happened is, that the original ta82 downgraded seems to, for some reason, corrupt a key in the psp.

This caused the wifi to stop.

I found a ID repair app and ran it and it checked all of the keys and fixed them.

Now my wifi is working like normal.

Nice to hear that it's working again. What program did you find? There's been a few times where I could have used that app...
