.....to take the PSP off the ''HOLD'' function without having the switch skip up and put the bloody thing in sleep mode??

its unbelievably annoying especially if you are using the PSP as a MP3 player:its in your pocket so you put it on hold,when you wanna change the track,it goes into sleep cos the switch jumps when you take it out of hold.

yeh there is just push the switch up slowly with your finger nail

i tried that AND i tried to put my other finger in such a way that while i push up,my finger would stop the switch from going too far.

no joy....
