Default Connection when NOT near router

Is there ANY way to be connected on internet while not near router? Because when I travel and take my PSP with me I can't play Interface games can't go on Internet Browser because there is no Connection. So is there any way to connect when not home near router?

The only way is through a router, or a wifi max, which needs to be connected to a wired net connection. Just do searches, places like starbucks have free wifi, but if your in the middle of a field then i highly doubt you will get anything.

The other choice is a 3G router. Click
They will connect to the internet over a 3G signal.

Of course this will cost a pretty packet but hey...

I always do a scan for wifi connection and you would be surprised at the amount of un-secured internet routers people have around. Back in the Uk recently I had a choise of three that I could piggy back on at my kids house.

Is it important to have some kind of key? I don't really see the importance in it, so I don't have one, but I have a very secure, but also easy password I could use if it is important.

Not sure what your on about but if you are talking wifi encrytion. Then you should have it encrypted.
Two reasons

1. If its not encrypted people can read the packets sent to/from your device. If you log in to a service, it's possible for people to read your password!

2. People can use your connection to do naughty things... Like spam or run ebay scams. When people trace the transactions they'll come back to your router!
