Okay, if you want a good solution to this, and you have a homebrewable PSP
I suggest the "AFKIM" homebrew
it does
-AIM
-MSN
-ICQ
-and some other thingy

but of course, it being homebrew and all, it has some bugs here and there...
you can find it at
http://www.psp-homebrew.eu
hope i helped

Is there anyway to actually install Windows Live Messenger (basically MSN 8) on a PSP?

Nope, not at this moment. And I HATE the keyboard on AFKIM.

AIMonPSP is definately the best one I've tried. And for some reason, that ebuddy bullsh*t never works for me.
