PSP 3.00 Firmware Release Date Confirmed! ~ Source: QJ.net - PSP-Forum.com

Rumors have been flying all over the internet over the highly anticipated (or for homebrewers, disliked) firmware 3.00 update. You saw some of the pictures from E3 and from other sources, and now it's (almost) here. The date for the 3.00 update will be released on October 19! As you can see, there are many new features and even a new layout! By the way, there is now a "Remote Play" option under the network connections tab, for wireless play between the PSP and PS3!

Hmmmm ....

I think I have learnt from my previous mistake and will wait till the homebrew software catches up with the Firmware upgrade .....

At the moment I am still waiting on 2.8.1 games

Meh im not worried im gunna start running 2 psp's.
Ill leave my current on 1.5 and then ill run an up 2 date one.
then ill learn to proggram again. i already have some proggraming knowledge i just get bored.
then ill hack it!

you know just a thought, if you neighbor got a PS3 and you had the PSP you could wirelessly controll and view the games on the PSP screen right?
