Hi, new here....
I was considering Ebaying my 4G Nano to offset the cost for a PSP. I travel alot, and wanted something for the airports to play games on, and also listen to some music as well. I was thinking the basic PSP with a 2G memory card (is this the largest I can get?) and some sort of adapter to use it in the car if possible..(FM tuner?) Any suggestions? I use the Nano primarly in the car instead of carying a bunch of CD's around......so a PSP will fit somewhere.....

I would get the PSP for those reasons of use. The PSP as a dedicated MP3 player is lacking to ipods clearly because of the size of it, but does the job just as well.
As to playing games whilst waiting in airports, well IMO you cant get something that will do the job better. I cant see why you would want an FM tuner for PSP to use in the car. Surely just use your cars radio. If i misunderstood what you meant then i appologise. Overall, yes i think you should get on for your reasons. And im not saying that because i have one, because if you just wanted one for listening to music then i would rather an Ipod. |

Oh ok i understand.
I had a look on google but i couldnt see anything that would work better than what you are talking about. I would have thought that a frequency would be available if you search through them all. Sony have come out with a car stereo that saves 500 songs inside the face of it via usb. It is recognised as a mass storage device (1GB), but i dont think the PSP could do that. Maybe sony would consider adding that feature to a firmware update. |

you can get a griffin trip for your psp, it fits straight onto the bottom, or you could look on ebay for cheaper versions, i got one for £5 but it broke after a month. I also suggest you get something to hold your psp while driving, so you can easily hit the R button to change track, search for car cradle in ebay.

I found something that will work better (at least for me) than a standard FM tuner...check it out! It's 30$, and basicly gives you a line-in jack to any radio.....only drawback, is that you can't easily move it from car to car...
