I haven't seen your thread on the playstation board (our proxy server is blocking the site), but I'll offer you some tips for troubleshooting.
PSPvideo9 should take care of these (I use it too), but double check the following, just in case: * Make sure SP encoded videos are in: PSP:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 and named: M4V#####.mp4 (replace "#####" with whatever random numbers you want) or Make sure AVC encoded videos are in: PSP:\MP_ROOT\100ANV01 and named: MAQ#####.mp4 When encoding: *Make sure resolution is set to either 320 X 240 or 368 X 208 and *Make sure the framerate is set to either 29.97 or 14.985 Unfortunately, the PSP is picky when it comes to playing videos. Your videos might not play if the above conditions are not met. Hope this helps. |

Well, when you encode using PSPvideo9, you choose which encoding (SP or AVC) you want to use.
There's a nice FAQ on the PSPvideo9 site forum that explains all the settings: http://www.pspvideo9.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=850 |

:? ....doubt it. This isn't an unheard of problem. Most people who try to get movies on their PSP's have some trouble somewhere along the line...it's just because the PSP is SO picky with what files and formats and filenames, can go into what folder.

Hi! I'm new around here...

hey there, first, i want to say hi to everyone, this is my first time here
i'm having trouble as far as putting video files on it and that i tried a few times, however i can't seem to get it right, i downloaded the program psp video 9 and my version is 2.71 i also couldn't get the program to recognize the psp even though it was in usb mode, so i did it manually, by selecting the (k drive removable disk, which is the one it was connected to, however, after the conversion, i noticed to decrease in memory card space, but there was no sign of the file on the psp, when i went to the video directory, it said that there was no videos on it, has anyone else had this problem? i do know that the psp is a little picky in regards to what format the files are, so if theres anyone that can help me, it would be greatly appreciated, |
