sorry that was a bit vague, the real answer is yes, but depends on which games you mean, some emulators may be able to support wi-fi play but not many and I'm guessing that they wont be easy to get to work, ISO's probably can be used with wifi but hush hush on that subject.
But to tell the truth, I'm not certain at all.

Roms? If you mean emulator roms it depends if the emulator supports it but some do. If you are talking about isos but calling them roms then be careful as you will be banned.

An ISO is an image file from a CD, raher than having every folder and file all in one big folder an ISO is created from a disc which is just one file, which once burnt to a CD returns to all the files and folders again.
Hope that makes sense. I dont know the difference between an ISO and a ROM. I know that an ISO can be legal or illegal depending on if you own an original of the ISO you have. E.G. i have the feeder album indoors but i want to back the CD up so i create an ISO on my computer incase it breaks, this is legal as i own an original. I presume that is right anyway, much confusion around this subject. |

I don't know why we can talk about roms and not isos on this site...they're both illegal to have if you don't own a bought copy.
But anyways from what I gather, a rom (in the gaming sense) is simply the data that has been directly extracted from a single game cartridge and put in a single file. That file can be used with an emulator to play that game on a different machine (e.g. a PC, PSP, etc). For example, you can play Sonic the Hedgehog on your PSP using a Sega Genesis emulator. |
