PSP WANTS TO UPGRADE i DON'T WANT TO..HOW? - PSP-Forum.com

Hi

I recently got a psp japanese screen version with v2.0 have been thinking about downgrading to 1.5 and getting into home brew etc.

Problem is I bought FIFA 2007 and the machine won't let me play until I uprade with the software contained on the game disk.

I resent this, should it be my choice to upgrade or not and do I have any options or must I allow the upgrade.

to play the game, i have kno idea if you HAVE to upgrade, but if you really want to get into homebrews etc, theres nothing stoping you, so i say.... downgrade

there is a way to get it to work on 1.5..... but i 4get how... ask bamhm182, he got GTA:LCS to work on his 1.5 and it needs 2.6 to work

Downgrade to 1.5 then use a homebrew application called devhook to emulate 2.71 meaning you'll be able to play fifa 07 without actually upgrading just emulating the fimeware

If you do brick it, which you probobly won't, try using that Unbricker, also if you can, could you make a video of you unbricking it to show people it actually works? Thanks

I'm not lying, my friend said he made one, I want to see if it works, but I can't find anyone with a bricked PSP... It uses the second half of Dark_Alex's 1.5->1.0 downgrader and he said he somehow got it to auto-run. So I'm not lying.
