Default PSP Buttons

Hi

I've just purchased my PSP and have a question about the square, triangle, circle, cross buttons.
unlike the PS2 which are pressure sensitive these appear to be a little hit and miss when you press them, if you don't press them squarely sometimes they don't work. Does anyone else notice this???

Some times they do and sometimes they don't so I guess i just not use to the controller. I spoke to Sony tech support and they said its because the buttons are digital not analogue.

Thanks all

Yea, you're right about the lack of pressure sensitivity...(which absolutely sucks IMO) but they shouldn't have to pressed a certain way for them to work.

Yeah, I just checked(pushed the buttons in all differant spots) and they all work fine in all spots. So it might just be because your PSP is a little wierd, if you didn't want homebrew or have a 2.80/1 and it's still under warranty, I'd have them replace it if I were you.
