Umd not loading

Im having a problem with My umds. When i put a umd in my psp it dosnt load up the little umd disc sign you click on to start the game up under the game section. it just has that little white circle in the bottom right of the psp sayin its loadin but its not.

Also When i Do a Hard Reboot and have a umd in my psp and then switch my psp on it just switches on with a background and no icons!!! I then have to take the umd out and the icons load up.

Strange coz i never had this problem before and i want to play my psp!!!! Can any one help please

Sounds like the UMD is the problem...I had one just stop working out of nowhere. Try it with another game.

Hmmm...I guess it's your PSP :?

Can you still atleast use your PSP for other things other than playing games, or is it totally screwed up? Either way, you should take it to the place you got it from and tell them it no longer loads UMD's.

well i can still do everything else its just loadin umds and i got it off ebay so i cant give it back. Maybe pagnell we no what to do

EDIT: As i recently downgraded a few weeks ago could it be possible that i downgraded using a bad downgrader? Should i try upgradin to fw 2.00 and then downgradin back? My umds have been workin since i downgraded just today it decided to stop working

Any ideas of what i can do or do you know any places where i can get my psp repaired in the uk?
