Is there a reason you have 20 other user names with the same ip?

And about the question, I'd just get a new PSP instead of going through all the hassle. I mean, after you get it (which will be sort of a pain), then you have to install it. Which if you can't do it by yourself, then you'll have to spend more money to get it put it. Plus, the chances of there being a problem due to the motherboard in the future increases.

The mobo is the big one, that's the one you need to replace, last time I checked it was around $80 though. I'd just get a new one, the one to the left you're probobly thinking of is just for the WIFI and memory stick reader. If you think I might be wrong, that's okay, I don't care, but I know the PSP inside and out. So I do know what I'm talking about. Trust me though, it'd probobly be worth it just to go buy a used/refurb, it'd have a higer chance of being a 1.5 anyways, as I'm assuming that's how you bricked yours (trying to downgrade.)
