Default Network Access Code

Ok, i realise that not everyone needs one of these codes to play online. But id like to cover all bases and make sure i hav one b4 i go investing in online games that i mit not even b able to play.

I liv in Australia. I bought my PSP of a mate who wasnt able to provide me with the receipt or the supposed piece of paper with the code on it. Iv contacted the 'Playstation Support Centre' and they said they can only give me a replacement code if i provide a receipt for the PSP, PS2 Slimline or Network Adapter, none of which i have. One i idea i had is to go out and buy a network adapter which i assume would b the cheapest of the three items, get 2 receipts, giv sony one so i can get the code, then take back the network adapter with the other receipt as i have no use for it.

Does anyone know of a way to generate one of these codes without needing receipts and the like? Can u use someone elses, or does the code have to match ur individual psp?

Any help appreciated. Cheers!

haven't you asked this countless times? truth is no-one is too sure about this, some countries do and some dont, some games do some dont, why not take the risk and trying it?

Haha yeh iv asked it once, and never has anyone answered it properly.

Does anyone know of a way to generate one of these codes without needing receipts and the like? Can u use someone elses, or does the code have to match ur individual psp?

That is my point and the underlying question of my post.

Ahh k cheers! I think i hav done what they advise tho, that of contacting sony, and they say i need a receipt before they can give me the code. So that is why im lookin for a way around that.. Plus im in Australia so that only complicates as it seems to be a different case here compared to the UK and US who seem to giv out the codes willy nilly.
