:? That's not normal!

I've never heard of anyone complaining about that before. Does it reset all of your settings when you have to do it?

If it's a problem, I'd just take it back and tell them

i know that its one of the screens you get when downgrading your psp, its due to happen soon ill take a pic. the more socom online i play the faster it happens everytime.

also just a thought could my psp potentialy have an error in which i can downgrade it when this happens without going through most of the other actions?

ill call sony when i find my cell.

edit: it takes everything back to default exept for the firmware. you get the same screen as if youve never turned on your psp before. all internal data( ex. the wallpaper is erased)is gone.

edit once again: i found a picture of it on this video. fast forward to 2:06 seconds and pause. thast the screen i get.

heres the link click here

Ok so how exactly does it happen...are you just playing it and BAM it shuts off and when you power on it goes to the same screen...or do you shut it off all the way...oooo or do you shut it off while surfing the web cuz I do that some times and it resets the PSP to that blue screen....

That's happened to me before.. I was playing GTA and then, pressed home, and it came up in japanese, after I found out the O was switched to the X and I managed to quit out of it, It came up with what you just said.
