Default broken/dumb buttons

i dont know whats wrong with my d-pad...but 2 of my buttons hardly work...the right and down button suck...they dont really grab...i was wondering if i took off the shell if theres a way i can reset the buttons and maybe they'll work? what should i do

there was a technique i saw somewhere that involved taking the psp apart, then putting an old NES sleeve cut into a cross under the D-pad, this resolved any diagonal pushing problems. Google up "d-pad nes sleeve" or something

all you have to do is unscrew the face plate and push the buttons back into place...
