what are some good games out now in japan?

ridge racer, Ape Escape, Dynasty Warriors, Metal Gear Acid, Armored Core Formula Front, Hot Shots Golf, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower , Need for Speed Underground: Rivals, and many more puzzle games.

yeah, there is free web based tetris

you have to go to web browser using wipeout pure though...
