go to download.com and search for a wma to mp3 converter, and anyone of those should work. I downloaded the AV MP3 player-morpher, which was free and really easy to use.

ok, do you have WinXP and the newest windows media player?
if you do, don't open it yet, just pop in the cd you want to burn.
don't do anything, let it spin up until a small window pops up asking what you want to do with it. there should be 2 options for windows media player. choose the one that says rip using windows media player. after that it will ask you the format. choose mp3 from there and the rest is automatic. after it finished just transfer them to the psp music folder but make sure your psp is connected. 8)

just remember you don't have to format the memory stick that comes with the psp, only if you buy one other than the 32mb one that came with it. it comes pre-formatted in the box. and don't worry if you do, it doesn't hurt the stick if you reformat it.

click on the folder with a orange arrow pointing out of it on the home screen, and highlight what song you want, and then just click the icon w/purple lines to morph it into mp3 format.
