Having problems putting on music on my sandisk 2.0gb - PSP-Forum.com

I can easily put music on my regular 32mb memory stick but I just bought a sandisk 2.0gb and when i do the normal routine of putting the music on, i get a message that the song has an incorrect file path and to specify the file name. Then the psp files close out and I cant access it until i turn off and turn on the psp.

Achase, I suggest you format the card using the PSP.

yep thats your problem (i had the same thing happening to me few months agao with my 512 sandisk)

Pagnell, I wouldn't even give him a warning. His first post was completely unacceptable. He didn't even try to help, or point in the right direction. It was extremely scornful against a new person to the forum who needed help with his PSP.

especcialy if you need help for your own thread quickly and the first reply is that sorta crap.

All I'm looking for is a little help. The first thing I did was format the memory stick, but I still got the same error. I think it has something to do with new firmware of the psp upgrade. I know with the newer versions of the psp, sony is making only its memory stick compatible with the psp and companies like sandisk wont work.

thats absolutely BS!

sony will always find ways to make poeple buy their own branded stuff

if they have made the new psp's to only take their own branded memory stick you will either ahve to send or take it back to wherever you bought it and buy a sony one or wait till a hack comesout, and if the hack is the case i dont think it willb e long.
