you could go to a hot spot or get a wireless router. you cant get online with dial-up. you could check and see if theres a signal nearby and if theres no wep key then you're good to go. if there is, then you need the key from the owner.

WIFI MAX, if you have broadband then this is good to use, cheaper than a router but your pc has to be on.
Wireless router, only power to modem and router and PC dosent need to be switched on, be prepared to pay around £100 for a decent one. As said above, walking around the hause to see if you can pick someone else's signal with no security is always worth a shot. |
