Hi im new and i am debating buying a PSP

Firstly

What is on that sample UMD Disc?

Secondly does is come with a Battery and Charger in the box?

Thirdly what else should i know?

First, just as a suggestion, don't expect everyone to be jumoing at the chance to answer your question within the first 1/2 hour of the post.

Now to answer your questions:
1.) Movie previews, music videos, previews for games (not demos)
2.) Yes, it does come with a battery and charger
3.) Homebrew is available on 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 - 2.6 (more info on that in the Homebrew section, read the stickys)

and you should plan on getting screen protectors. the psp's screen can get scratched really easily by things as little as dust particles. so screen protectors are a definate must have. i also suggest a hard case if you think you might break it.
