Default memory stick gaming vs. non-gaming

I'm looking into buying a memory stick for my PSP and I'm trying to decide if the "gaming" line from sandisk is worth it. I cant help but feel its just a trick to make the conumer pay more for a product that is essentially the same.

I found a review comparing the Sandisk line to sony's line and sandisk's gaming cards outperform sony's hi-speed line.

link

but im trying to compare Sandisk's memory stick duo line to its "gaming" line.

Thanks

PSP performance isn't affected. I have a regular Sony stick and a Sony Hi-speed stick and I've played homebrew from both and noticed no difference. I also have a Sandisk Gaming edition stick and i noticed no difference there either. The ONLY difference Ive seen with any stick is the read/write speed while using a USB memory stick reader. Very obvious differences.
