Hi,
in my recent ****ed antics i managed to step on my psp whilst it was on a sofa, the casing in front of the screen is broke but wost of all i f**ked the lcd panel, u can still see half of the screen and luckly everything software related works fine. ive got a new lcd panel from ebay. my problem is i need a tutorial to change it, i know it looks simple just unplugging/plugging a ribbon cable and mounting the new panel but nothings ever that easy, is it? also the lcd panel was less than £20, compared to the rest on ebay its about average price, is this how much they cost? it seems too cheap! thanks for any help J+S |

The LCD isn't too difficult to change - I swapped one for a friend and it took about 20 minutes. The difficult bit is getting the faceplate back on without dust settling on the LCD. This was a real pain and I still didn't manage it 100%.
Check out here for a basic tutorial.
