Default PSP RESET WHEN TURED OFF FOR LONG TIME.

when i had my psp off for about 3 weeks or more the time got reset, but not anything else why?

What were you hoping would be reset? The firmware? Not likely. Once it's in the BIOS, it's there until overwritten.

Did you leave the PSP on stand by or full OFF?

Remember that standby still uses up power, albeit a tiny amount, so perhaps your battery was flat... so the time would reset.... the information on your memory stick is independant to that of power in the unit so lack of juice would only effect the clock and without you adjusting the default settings the unit (when powered up) wouold seem only to have reset the clock.

Well that's my theory anyway

yeah that's it if you leave it on sleep for a long time then it will lose all its power and then because of that the clock batery would lose its power and then the clock would reset (everything else is stored in the flash though so the clock should be the only thing resetting)
